Specify the number of events (N) and the probability of success on any one event
(p). The mean and standard deviation will be computed and the probability distribution
will be graphed. To find a cumulative probability, specify whether you want to
find the probability of the number of successes to be less than or equal to
a value, greater than or equal to a value, or between two values. When you ask
for the probability between two values, both values are included. Therefore,
the probability between 3 and 5 is the probability of 3, 4, or 5. To find the
probability of 3 successes, find the probability between 3 and 3. The specified
range is shown in red and the probability is displayed at the bottom.
