Area Under the Normal Distribution

  1. Select "Area from a value (Use to compute p from Z)."
  2. Specify the mean and standard deviation.
  3. Indicate whether you want to find the area above a certain value, below a certain value, between two values, or outside two values.
  4. Finally, indicate the value(s).
The graph will shade the area and the size of the area will be shown at the bottom.

Inverse Normal Distribution

  1. Select "Value from an area (Use to compute Z for confidence intervals)."
  2. Specify the area, mean and standard deviation.
  3. Indicate whether you want to find the area above a certain value, below a certain value, between two values, or outside two values.
  4. Finally, indicate the value(s).

  5. The value of Z will be shown.
